The Russian Triumph C-400 anti-aircraft missile systems attract the attention of not only key Russian partners, but also the closest partners of the United States. Thus, relatively recently, Turkey spoke in favor of acquiring these air defense systems, which are planned to be transferred to the Turkish side in July of this year, however, as it became known from Rosoboronexport CEO, another US partner became interested in purchasing the C-400 air defense system Triumph - Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, according to information that appeared in the media, Saudi Arabia was really interested in buying Russian Triumphs, but the day before, the CEO of Rosoboronexport also confirmed these intentions. So far, there is no talk of concluding a contract, but such air defense systems are of great military interest for this country.

“We are conducting additional consultations on this project, and so far this contract is under consideration.”, - he said.

Earlier, the United States threatened Saudi Arabia with measures to buy Russian weapons, to which the authorities of that country noted that in such a case, the United States would lose any privileges in the region, including the US military bases.
