Swiss Air Force fighters approached the plane of the delegation of Vladimir Putin.

A few hours ago, when an Il-96 aircraft entered, with a Russian delegation and journalists on board, two fighters of the Swiss Air Force approached it, which caused serious panic among those on board. Due to the fact that the fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces were not nearby, a lot of criticism was directed at the Swiss pilots, however, as it turned out, Switzerland refused to admit their guilt.

Against the background of the incident, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that a protest note was sent as a result of the incident, however, Switzerland rejected any complaints, noting that this was not about creating provocations, and not even about identification of the aircraft, and the meeting of the Russian delegation.

“We sent a note, and the Swiss replied that it was such an act of hospitality”, - said Dmitry Peskov

There are no other comments as a result of the incident, however, the Avia.pro resource had a video at its disposal, which shows that the Swiss planes did accompany the Russian side, but did not allow a dangerous approach.
