Damascus warned of the start of a military operation to free Idlib.

Not so long ago it was reported on the elimination of the Russian VKS leader of one of the pro-American groups in Syria. It was told about the attack of the CAA, supported by the Allies, in the northern part of the province of Hama. The challenge now is to free the province of Idlib from jihadists.

The al-Watan Syrian pro-government newspaper reports that the CAA distributes leaflets to the public in which people are notified that a military operation is being launched in the named province to free it from terrorists. Leaflets calling on civilians to leave their homes are scattered through aviation.

The helicopters of the Syrian army leaflets dropped on villages in the province of Idlib. They report that settlements will be vacated during a large-scale military operation.

The other day, more precisely, on May 22, 2019, SAA units repelled three massive terrorist attacks from the territory of the Idlib province. The militants were well armed and trained. Their formations began to advance on May 20. The positions of the SAA and nearby settlements were fired upon. The militants "Hayat Tahrir al-Sham" (banned in the Russian Federation - approx. ed.), the former "Dzhebhat an Nusra" (banned in the Russian Federation - approx. Ed.), used tanks. Because of this, the CAA, during the upcoming operation, intends to “push” the terrorists closer to the Turkish border, to deserted mountains.
