Syria vows to Israel to strike Tel Aviv airport

Syria has promised to "punish" Israel with a symmetrical strike, and there is such a possibility.

The Syrian authorities have declared their readiness to strike back at the Tel Aviv International Airport if the UN representatives do not respond properly to new Israeli missile strikes, which killed at least four people and seriously damaged the country's infrastructure.

“Either the regular attacks on our territories will stop, or we will exercise our legitimate right to defend ourselves and respond to the attack of the Jewish state symmetrically by hitting the Tel Aviv airport.”- said the Permanent Representative of Syria to the UN.

Experts emphasize that with the reliability of the Israeli air defense system, this will be very problematic for Syria, however, today the Syrian Arab Army has Tochka tactical missile systems in service, which may well hit any target in Israel, and the interception of such missiles is very problematic even with the developed system of air and missile defense of the Jewish state.

“Israel is extremely hopeful of the capabilities of its missile defense systems. Remember, several hundred Hamas missile strikes made the Israeli Iron Dome completely helpless, while the capabilities of the same Point are much wider, and it is very problematic to intercept such a missile., - the analyst notes.

By the way, it should be noted that earlier the Syrian authorities have already threatened Israel with strikes against Haifa and Tel Aviv, but so far no such measures have been taken.
