The Israeli missile defense system could not bring down the Syrian drones.

According to the Israeli edition of 9TV, last Saturday, near the Syrian-Israeli border, a Syrian reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle was seen, which, in the opinion of the IDF military command, was a threat, and the drone attempted to destroy the Patriot missile defense system. Nevertheless, despite the relatively low speed of the flight of the Syrian UAV, the Patriot complex, developed in the United States, could not hit the chosen target.

Experts believe that this failure of the Israeli military is an excellent confirmation that Israel is not ready to repel a large-scale missile attack, which is why it was quite afraid of the presence of the Iranian military in Syria, who, according to some sources, were preparing their targets for possible attacks on territory of Israel.

On the other hand, before the resource Avia.pro reported that on the border of Syria and Jordan, Israeli drone was shot down by a Russian drone (according to other information, we are talking about the Syrian drones - ed.).

This case is far from the only one, in particular, relatively recently, Saudi Arabia complained that the US Patriot missile defense complex could not detect and destroy the missiles launched in Riyadh, in connection with which expressed a desire to acquire the Russian S-400 Triumph air defense systems in the future, which are able to quickly track any missile launches and carry out an effective interception, which became quite a powerful blow for the United States, especially since earlier the firm intention to acquire the Russian S-400 SAM was declared by Turkey.
