Qatar showed aggression towards military aircraft of the UAE.

As follows from the statement made by General Al Kubaisi, 3 and 12 January 2108, fighters belonging to the Air Force of Qatar, tried to intercept military aircraft belonging to the UAE Air Force.

At the moment, it is known that on January 11, Qatar fighters tried to force a special airplane DHC-3 Twin Otter, which carried out an observation mission. It is reported that the pilot of the UAE military aircraft was informed that the aircraft violated the space of Qatar, so the crew was ordered to land the aircraft on the territory of the country, however, the pilot was able to deploy the aircraft and return to the territory controlled by the UAE.

12 January, a similar incident occurred with the military transport aircraft C-130, and, as in the case of 3 January, the Qatar Air Force threatened the pilots of the United Arab Emirates Air Force with weapons, however, since the transport plane was in neutral airspace, which - no military action against the aircraft was not applied.

Despite this fact, the authorities of Qatar completely reject any accusations to their side, believing that such provocations are created specifically to destabilize the situation in the region, which was also confirmed by independent experts.
