Media: Turkey can remain without F-35 and without C-400

Turkey's attempts to sit on two chairs at once will leave the country without modern weapons.

Analysts in a number of American and Asian media have come to the conclusion that trying to demonstrate its independence, Turkey may be left without modern weapons. At the moment it is known that Washington has decided to freeze the supply of F-35 combat fighters to this country, and the nascent conflict between Russia and Turkey over Syria may leave Turkey without the coveted S-400 Triumph complexes.

Earlier, the resource Avia.pro already reported that Turkey has deployed its air defense systems in the Syrian province of Idlib and announced its intention to destroy any aircraft striking the positions of the Turkish military and civilian Syrians. According to analysts, Turkey thereby intends to illegally annex part of the territory of Syria, but the authorities of the Arab republic, and this applies equally to Russia, reacted negatively to the Turkish position. Given Turkey's assertiveness, it is logical to assume that Russia may refuse to sell its S-400 Triumph air defense systems to this country, while Washington decided not to sell its fifth-generation F-35 fighters to Erdogan.

"Erdogan tries to sit down immediately on two chairs and at the same time to swing. Such a comparison is very similar to the current actions of Turkey, but ultimately, this country can be left without modern weapons, which will be a strong blow to it ", - said the analyst Avia.pro.
