Pilot of an experimental airplane on solar batteries could overcome the Pacific Ocean in five days.

The air flight across the Pacific Ocean passed without any problems, and mostly it was helped by the good weather. The Avia.pro website recalls that earlier it was supposed to cross the Pacific Ocean, which is more than 8 thousand kilometers, for 8 days, but the pilot managed to do it much faster, and thus, at the moment the experiment is ahead of its time.

 At the moment, the aircraft "Solar Impulse 2" is in the Hawaiian Islands and is awaiting further preparation for a round-the-world flight.
