The US is afraid of getting secret information about F-35 in the hands of Russia.

US Senator Chris Van Hollen expressed serious concerns about the possible transfer by Turkey of classified information about the F-35 fighter systems, to Russia. According to the expert, if Russia can get information about even the slightest vulnerability of these fifth generation aircraft, which Donald Trump himself called the most promising and advanced fighters in the world, the balance of military forces on the planet can radically change.

According to Chris Van Hollen, such fears are present, and this is due not to espionage by Russian military and special services, but to the fact that US F-35 fighters will be transferred to Turkey, which maintains close ties with Russia, and may well exchange information about F-35 fighters on modern Russian armament.

"The F-35 fighter is the most advanced aircraft in the world and the most promising NATO airplane. If Russia can get secret information about American fighters, this can be a huge problem, not only for the US and NATO, but for the whole world ", - follows from the statement of the American senator.

Among other things, the United States is seriously concerned about the fact that the Russian S-400 Triumph air defense systems, which Turkey wants to acquire from Russia, can "scan" American fighters, and thereby find the weak points of these aircraft, in connection with which in the United States America and strongly oppose the Turkey-Russia deal.

Russian military experts do not see any problems, since the S-400 systems are quite capable of detecting American stealth fighters and, quite possibly, destroying them without any problems.
