In the United States believe that Russia will forever be without naval aviation.

Despite the fact that Russia has a heavy aircraft carrying cruiser Admiral Kuznetsov, and the appearance of a full-fledged aircraft carrier is expected in the future, the United States believes that Russia has completely lost naval aviation, most likely for good.

Analysts of the American publication "The National Interest" believe that Russia will abandon the construction of an aircraft carrier, considering this project extremely difficult and costly. A similar situation has already happened with helicopter carriers, which Russia intended to adopt in the near future, but considering the project unpromising, it finally abandoned it.

Moreover, experts are sure that even if Russia can design a really good aircraft carrier, but this will not happen in a decade, specialists with special knowledge to manage combat aircraft landing and taking off from the deck will simply not remain - lack of practice will not allow Russia to get at least some advantages.

The only aircraft-carrying cruiser, Admiral Kuznetsov, which is in service with Russia, is, according to experts, so pathetic that it is more likely "... a museum exhibit ..." than really represents at least some kind of power.
