Command of the US Air Force refused to send instructors to F-16 fighter pilots to Turkey.

Official confirmation of this information has not been received yet, however, according to US media, the US Air Force command refused to send its instructors at the request of Turkey to train pilots of F-16 fighters. Experts believe that the refusal can be connected with the recently cooled relations between the two countries, but it is clear that other circumstances could contribute to this.

It should be clarified that, due to the lack of professional pilots, the Turkish Air Force leadership decided to expand the recruitment, however, really qualified personnel capable of training pilots for the management of combat fighters are currently available only in the United States,
