In India, Washington’s “understanding” of the need to purchase C-400 was announced.

The minister clarified that the United States made it clear that there probably would not be sanctions against India. Washington is concerned about the growth of the military potential of countries with common borders with India, which provides a certain degree of threat.

Nirmala Sitharaman explained that the United States took into account the fact that India, which borders Pakistan and China, is interested in both Russian and other weapons. In this case, she will remain "A strong partner of the United States in the region".

As noted in New Delhi, Washington benefits from strengthening cooperation with India, which allows "To resist Chinese assertiveness". As for the sanctions against Turkey, they are related to “Ankara’s actual disregard of the military-technical partnership program within the North Atlantic Alliance”.
