The United States understands the dangers of its allies sending troops to Ukraine

In the context of ongoing tensions between Russia and the West, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov spoke about the potential threat posed by the possible deployment of troops by Western allies to Ukraine. He emphasized that such actions could lead to serious and undesirable consequences, especially in the context of a hybrid war unleashed by the West against Russia. Antonov pointed to provocative statements by the US Army, which, in his opinion, could worsen the situation, and expressed concern about discussions among European countries about the possibility of sending their military forces to Ukraine. According to the diplomat, the Pentagon must remember the fundamentals of international politics and take into account the special responsibility of Russia and the United States for strategic stability.

Antonov also drew attention to the US Army report, which called Russia an "enemy", expressing deep concern about this. He stressed the importance of returning to the principle of indivisibility of security as the only way to prevent conflicts.

The situation escalated after White House National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said that the United States does not intend to send troops to participate in hostilities in Ukraine. The announcement followed a conference in Paris called by French President Emmanuel Macron to support Ukraine, where the possibility of sending soldiers was discussed but no consensus was reached.
