The Russian stunt with the C-400 and C-500 SAMs threatens the USA with serious problems

According to the PolitRussia publication, Russia, at the expense of its S-400 and S-500 air defense systems, should seriously press the USA on the international arms market. The fact is, as the expert is sure, that when creating the S-400, two goals were pursued at once. The first, of course, is the protection of the airspace of the Russian Federation. The second is to enter the international market in such a way as to take a significant part of it from the United States without any problems.

The current situation shows that Russia has managed to achieve both goals. According to many experts and analysts, the Russian air defense system surpasses American “Patriot” in its technical characteristics. The demand for them in the world is increasing. It is now known that C-400 plan to buy 13 states. It should be especially noted that these are the Russian counterparts of the American NATO missiles, which are Russian counterparts of the US air defense system.

Expert Vasilescu reminds that next year the transition to a new air defense system, the S-500, will begin in Russia. This will deal an even more severe blow to the American positions in the arms market. These new complexes are significantly superior to all that the United States has, including Patriot, THAAD and SM-3. Judging by the success with which Russia entered the market with the C-400, one can expect even more effect from the C-500 SAMs.
