It became known how many Leopard tanks will be able to supply NATO countries to Ukraine

Ukraine should not count on significant deliveries of German Leopard tanks.

The head of the German Ministry of Defense, Boris Pistorius, noted that despite the combined efforts of the North Atlantic Alliance, Ukraine will not be able to get the desired number of German-made combat vehicles. In total, 80 Leopard 2 tanks and approximately 160 Leopard 1 tanks are expected to be sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. NATO countries simply do not have a large number of these combat vehicles, as a result of which it is not recommended to use them without apparent need.

Information on this subject may well be of an unreliable nature, with the aim of disinformation, however, the NATO countries really have very limited availability of such resources. However, Sweden (not a member of NATO) can arrange deliveries, not to mention the intentions of the UK to supply Ukraine with Challenger 1 and Challenger 2 tanks, as well as the intentions of France and the United States to send about 60 Abrams and Leclerc tanks to Ukraine.

To date, according to official data, Ukraine already has 32 Leopard 2 tanks and 14 Challenger 2 tanks. However, unofficial information indicates that in reality the Armed Forces of Ukraine could also receive unofficial tanks and currently have more than a hundred Leopard 2 tanks alone. , which cast doubt on Pistorius' statement.
