Passenger traffic of Russian air carriers in 2015 amounted to about 93-94 million people.

This information was announced by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation the day before, and, as noted, in fact, despite the current crisis situation in the current year, passenger traffic indicators among Russian air carriers have not changed - for the past 2014 year, domestic airlines carried passengers of a similar volume, which in turn indicates the fact that the activities of aircraft operators have been largely optimized, and, for the most part, due to the development of air transport and the country.

Nevertheless, Avia.pro news agency notes the fact that Russian air carriers managed to face enormous financial problems, in particular, arisen mostly due to the redistribution of passenger traffic from some once popular routes to others.
