Trump challenges Russia by deploying a missile defense system in Syria

Washington intends to deploy an Israeli missile defense system in Syria.

Despite the fact that a few months ago, Donald Trump announced the withdrawal of the American military contingent from Syria, it became known today that the United States of America intends to deploy the Israeli Iron Dome system in the eastern part of Syria, thus posing a serious challenge to Russia in this region.

According to Israeli media reports, the Iron Dome, previously acquired from the Israeli side of the missile defense system, is planned to be located in eastern Syria, on the territory of the current US military base in Al-Tanf. For what purpose it will be done, the Israeli media do not report, but according to analysts, the United States similarly wants to protect its military bases in the Middle East from a possible strike from Russia, as well as to ensure Israel’s protection from a possible nuclear strike from Iran.

No official confirmation of this data has yet been received, but experts are paying attention to the fact that the purchase of Israeli missile defense systems is really not advisable to deploy them in the United States, which is due to the relatively small radius of action. At the same time, these systems can completely close airspace in eastern Syria from any possible threats.

By the way, too, here is a statistic on the website "In Russia, they created an analogue of the drone, which destroyed the Pantsir-S air defense missile system."
And by the way it is written that the system is unique, shame RO

She even works, not so much that armor metal

The "Iron Dome" at the very least (85%) protects only from unguided missile-projectiles such as "Grada" or "Kassam". What is the protection from the Russians, from a nuclear strike, "from any possible threats"? Why exalt this small-town micro-missile defense?
