Trump threatens India for buying Russian C-400

Trump began to threaten India for buying Triumph’s C-400 Russian air defense system.

More recently, it became known that India and Russia signed a contract for the supply of the Russian Triumph C-400 anti-aircraft missile systems. We are talking about a contract worth more than 5 billion dollars, but in the deal, US President Donald Trump saw a clear threat to the national interests of the United States of America, and therefore began to threaten India with countermeasures, although he did not specify what was being said.

The president of the United States of America, Donald Trump, promised India a decent and prompt response to the deal, which official Washington opposed from the very beginning.

“India will find out. You will see earlier than you think. ”, - Indian media quoted Trump.

According to analysts, we are talking about the introduction of sanctions measures against India, however, experts do not exclude that Trump's words can mean political and military pressure on Delhi.

Earlier, India stated that it is not afraid of possible sanctions from the United States of America, but if Trump decides on them, then India will be ready to give a decent response, including, it could be a break in cooperation in a number of areas, including military that, quite likely, will have a rather strong effect on Washington’s interests.
