Turkey intends to refuse to purchase another batch of Russian S-400 air defense systems.

Despite the statements of the Turkish side that in the event of US refusal to discuss the sale of Patriot missile defense systems to Ankara, the issue of acquiring another batch of Russian S-400 air defense systems will be considered, it became known that the issue of purchasing the Triumphs is suspended condition - Turkey is ready to finally abandon these Russian systems.

As follows from the data of the Turkish media, at the moment the second stage of sending Russian C-400 Triumph to Turkey can be canceled. At the present time, it is not reported on the initiative of which party such a decision is made, however, the fact that no official statements on this issue by official Ankara has been made so far is also important.

What exactly can cause a refusal to acquire Russian C-400, provided that the information provided is true - it is not known, however, experts believe that we can talk about existing agreements between Turkey and the United States regarding the acquisition by Ankara of fifth-generation F-35 fighters, since a few days earlier, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the abandonment of the Russian Su-35.
