Turkey is interested in buying Russian Su-57.

Against the background of the ongoing conflict between Turkey and the United States, caused by the intentions of the Turkish side to acquire the Russian S-400 Triumph air defense systems, Washington threatens Ankara with a break in the deal on the supply of F-35 fighters to this country, in connection with which, in the media, information appeared that that in order to demonstrate its position, Turkey is completely ready to purchase a large batch of Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighters.

According to experts, this is quite feasible, since the Turkish side had already shown interest in fifth-generation Russian fighters.

“Most likely, the Russian Su-57 is a backup plan for Turkey. If Washington refuses to supply its fighters to this country, then Turkey will not only arm itself with Russian C-400 air defense systems, but also adopt Russian Su-57 fighters, which will be a pretty serious blow to both the US and NATO ”, - the analyst notes.

On the other hand, Turkey has not received any official comments on this matter yet, and the specialists are repelled primarily from the further steps of the United States, which, obviously, will be taken after Turkey receives the Russian Triumphs.
