Turkey intercepted four Russian bombers in the sky over Syria.

Four Russian combat aircraft were intercepted by Turkey while trying to enter the country's airspace from Syria. The dangerous situation could well have resulted in a very serious incident, especially against the backdrop of the difficult relations between Russia and Turkey along Idlib and Aleppo.

“The Turkish military did not allow four Russian military aircraft, including two bombers, to enter their airspace from Syria. According to the data, Russian military aircraft tried to enter Turkish airspace before they were forced to deploy due to threats from the Turkish armed forces. The Russian Ministry of Defense has not yet commented on these allegations, however, if true, this will be an important event, as tensions between Moscow and Ankara over Idlib province continue to grow. ”- сообщает Arab news agency Al Masdar News, citing data from Russian media.

It should be clarified that in 2015, Turkey shot down a Russian front-line bomber when it violated the borders of Turkish airspace, which poses a very serious danger to Russian airborne forces attacking jihadists in the provinces of Idlib and Aleppo.

Despite the appearance of such information, no official comments were made by representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on this subject.
