The UTair airline will require compensation for the "moral experiences" of the disabled

Parents of the disabled boy, who were not allowed to board the plane because of gypsum on their feet, are going to seek compensation from the UTair air carrier.

Information about this shared Artem Moiseenko - president of the Primorsky Society of invalids-spinalov "Ark".

"Because of the situation, there were moral experiences, so parents expect to receive compensation for moral costs", - quoted him as RIA Novosti.

The public figure added that he can not yet determine the amount to be requested. The fact is that in compensation it is necessary to include not only compensation for the moral harm inflicted on the adolescent, but also on the expenses incurred by the parents while living in Kurgan.

An investigation is underway into the refusal to accommodate a disabled child in his place on the plane. The child and his father came to Kurgan for an operation, which was scheduled to be carried out at the local Ilizarov center. On the way back, they bought tickets for the flight on May 13, but upon arrival at the airport, they were refused at the check-in stage. Airport employees explained that they were not warned in advance that the child is a disabled person of the first group, for whom a special seat is required.

The child with his father had to stay in Kurgan for three days longer than planned, until the Primorsky Territory Social Insurance Fund bought them other tickets.
