An unknown plane flew at supersonic speed near the borders of the Crimea.

A few hours ago, experts discovered at the southwestern borders of the Crimean peninsula an unidentified plane that performed an unusual flight, in fact, cruising along the same route at supersonic speed.

According to the data at the disposal of the Avia.pro resource, the plane flew at an altitude of about 9-10 thousand meters, while at some point, which was recorded thanks to the capabilities of the Flightradar 24 service, its speed was 604 knots, which approximately equal to 1119 km / h.

Given the fact that at an altitude of approximately 10 kilometers, the speed of sound is about 1080 km / h, an unknown aircraft was traveling in supersonic mode.

Experts find it difficult to draw any conclusions on this score, however, the unknown aircraft itself flew along a very short route, which does not exclude the possibility that we are talking about any tests. On the other hand, at the moment, there are no official comments on what kind of aircraft we are talking about.
