November 29, 2013. Employees of the customs post of the Irkutsk airport crossed an attempt to illegally export bear paws from Russia.

A citizen of the PRC, going through customs control, chose the "green corridor" since there was no need for written confirmation for the goods transported. He had a cardboard box with him, which was noticed by the customs officers.

Asking to show the contents, the man began to panic and behave confused. After inspecting the box, they found several fragments of the limbs of bear paws, the total weight of which was almost 7 kg.

According to the citizen, he got the paws as a gift from friends from Irkutsk.

For violation of the law, a citizen of the PRC faces punishment in the form of a fine with confiscation of the object of the offense.
