December 25 2013. Polish Defense Minister decided to acquire the Italian trainer aircraft for the Polish Air Force. The contract will be signed by the Government in February 2014 years.

The amount that will be spent on renovation of fleet be 280 million euros. This cost includes the purchase of vessels such as the M 8-346 Master and ground systems for training. Also in terms of the contract includes training of personnel. If all the items of the contract are met, then Poland will acquire three more aircraft.

In the 2013, Poland held a tender for the purchase of aircraft. Its services offered to BAE Systems (UK) and Lockheed Martin (USA), but to sign the contract on cooperation of Poland did not, as they did not meet all the conditions.
