US scientists want to teach robots to build planes, using technology 3D-printing.

A group of American scientists at the moment is working on the creation of special robots that are inherent in using their drawings, could create their own aircraft using the technology 3D-printing. According to experts, such a process will take less time, however, due to the fact that this technology is currently not well developed, the first copies of "printed" aircraft, after they have passed all the required tests are more expensive than their counterparts, created by the conventional technology about 10-12%.

Experts do not doubt that the further development of this technology, aircraft production cost is maintained, thus, the reliability of the aircraft will be no less.
