The Russian Armed Forces launched a combined attack on military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Lviv, the main targets of which were enterprises of the military-industrial complex (MIC). According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, these enterprises produced and repaired electronic components for aircraft and missile weapons used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The strike highlights Russia's growing activity in Ukraine's western regions, where key logistics and infrastructure facilities for Western arms shipments are concentrated. The Lviv region has long been seen as a key supply hub for the Ukrainian military, and its strategic importance makes it a priority target for Russian attacks.
