Ukraine began using French AASM gliding bombs for strikes

Recently, information appeared that Ukraine began to actively use French AASM (Armement Air-Sol Modulaire) bombs, also known as Hammer, in its strikes, despite the absence of official statements from France about the supply of these ammunition to Kiev. This was confirmed by a video published by the Clash Report resource, which demonstrates the use of the AASM-250 by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to strike an industrial zone in Avdiivka.

French AASM bombs, known for their high accuracy and ability to glide towards a target, give the Ukrainian Armed Forces some advantage, since in this case aviation is not included in the range of ultra-short and short-range air defense systems.

It is known that France intended to transfer up to 600 AASM bombs to Ukraine, however, the supply of these ammunition was not officially announced.
