The Financial Times reports that Ukraine intends to call up to 160 new recruits between November and February to make up for the shortage of personnel at the front. However, according to experts, such ambitious plans may prove too difficult to implement, and the actual number of mobilized people may be around 100. This is expected to cover only about half of the current shortage of military resources, which could make it difficult to hold positions on the front lines.
In addition, the Financial Times sources note that the front line may shift 30-35 km west of the current borders by December, especially in the eastern direction. The publication's materials also report that the Ukrainian armed forces are considering the possibility of retreating from Kurakhovo, but the command has not yet given the corresponding order.
