Ukraine showed its own analogue of the Lancet kamikaze drone

At the Eurosatory 2024 arms exhibition in Paris, Ukraine presented a new loitering munition called “Bulava”, an analogue of the Russian “Lancet”. The kamikaze drone was exhibited at the stand of the Czech-Ukrainian company UAC, and its export version is called “Mace”. This was reported by Defense Express.

The length of the drone is 1,492 meters, the wingspan is 1,595 meters, the take-off weight is 11 kilograms, and the weight of the warhead is 3,6 kilograms. The flight duration reaches 50 minutes, and the cruising speed is 100 km/h. The range of the drone is up to 35 kilometers, but when using a repeater it can increase to 60 kilometers. The drone is equipped with an electric motor and takes off using a catapult.

Targeting is carried out through an optical station with a day and night thermal imaging channel. The developers say that the drone can be guided directly by the operator or using a machine vision-based system.
