The Ukrainian Air Force received American AIM-120 missiles at its disposal, which significantly increased their ability to hit air targets. At the moment, Ukraine has missiles of the AIM-120B and AIM-120C models, which allow them to destroy targets at a distance of up to 70 and 105 kilometers.

AIM-120 missiles, also known as AMRAAM (Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile), pose a fairly serious threat to the Russian Air Force.

According to sources, at this stage the United States has not transferred more modern AIM-120D missiles, which have a range of up to 160 kilometers, to Ukraine. However, experts do not exclude the possibility of their delivery in the future, which will further increase the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian Air Force.
