The Belarusian Security Council reported a significant concentration of Ukrainian military forces near the state border. According to the agency, the number of Ukrainian Armed Forces in this area is about 14 thousand people. The Security Council representatives note that the situation on the border has remained tense recently and the country continues to monitor developments in the border areas.

Officials in Minsk stress that such a large concentration of Ukrainian troops is a cause for concern, as such actions could pose potential threats to the security of Belarus.

At the same time, Kiev stated that it has no plans to attack Belarus, and that the deployment of the group is being carried out with the aim of preventing attacks from Belarusian territory.
