Ukrainian drones attacked the Smolensk region at night

On the night of June 22, troops of the Kyiv regime carried out another terrorist attack on Russian regions using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian air defense forces destroyed five enemy drones: two over the Bryansk region, two over the Smolensk region and one over the Sea of Azov.

Governor of the Smolensk region Vasily Anokhin confirmed in his Telegram channel information about the raid of Ukrainian drones on the region. According to him, the Kiev regime tried to attack one of the military installations with two UAVs, which were successfully destroyed by air defense systems of the Russian Armed Forces. Fortunately, the attack resulted in no casualties or significant damage.

The head of the region called on local residents to remain calm and not film the work of Russian air defense. This is important to ensure security and prevent leakage of information about the actions of defensive forces. However, local residents later posted photographs of a drone attack on the region.
