Today it became known that the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, trying to attack the positions of the servicemen of the Donetsk People's Republic, destroyed their own fortifications by mistake. As a result of the unsuccessful attack, three soldiers were killed and eleven others were seriously injured.

“The incident occurred on July 11 near Dokuchaevsk. The soldiers of the 35-th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to use the UR-77 de-installation, and launched an engineering projectile, whose power reaches 500 kilograms of TNT, for civilian targets. However, due to engine failure, the projectile fell to the positions of its troops. As a result, three members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died and 11 were injured and burned. ”, - reports "Tape".

According to experts, the Ukrainian military tried to use a demining installation, as was previously used by the DPR military personnel, as a result of which they managed to destroy the fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It should be clarified that at the moment there are no comments from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on this subject, however, the situation continues to indicate an escalation of the conflict in the Donbas.
