The Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have launched an offensive on a new section of the front near the village of Tyotkino in the Kursk region, located on the border with the Sumy region of Ukraine. According to Russian sources, Ukrainian infantry based near the village of Bessalovka has launched a series of attacks to break through the state border. Russian airborne troops (VDV) are engaged in fierce battles, having successfully repelled two assaults. In Tyotkino itself, on Chapayev Street, paratroopers are conducting a cleanup, neutralizing the remnants of Ukrainian assault groups. The new escalation highlights the ongoing tensions in the border areas, despite diplomatic efforts to achieve a ceasefire.

Experts do not rule out that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are using the new direction to distract Russian forces.
