In the Chernihiv region, an outpost of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed, which was supposed to deter a new Russian offensive.

As a result of a powerful missile strike by the Russian Aerospace Forces in the Chernihiv region, a large outpost of the Ukrainian military was destroyed. Located about 20 kilometers from the border with Russia, Ukrainian troops were to become a key defense against a new Russian offensive. However, as a result of several missile strikes, almost all large units of the Ukrainian troops and the military equipment located here were destroyed.

According to the data presented, the fire damage was inflicted on the object of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the Irvantsevo peat plant in the border village of Kuty Vtorye. Judging by the footage from the place of arrival, the object was seriously damaged, and the rubble is still being cleared. There is no exact information on the number of liquidated members of Ukrainian formations and destroyed equipment.

According to various sources, Ukrainian formations with a total strength of up to 2-3 battalions could be located here, however, there was probably only one large unit at the site of the strike.
