The strike by the Russian Iskander on the positional area of ​​​​the Ukrainian S-300 air defense systems was caught on video.

The Russian military destroyed an entire battery of Ukrainian S-300 air defense systems deployed in the Kharkiv region, about 15 kilometers from the border with the Lugansk People's Republic, with one strike of precision weapons. This is the first known fact of the deployment of S-300 complexes near the borders of Ukraine since the spring of 2022, and also, in all likelihood, the first case of the Iskander OTRK operating on the positions of air defense systems.

It is known that the Russian military discovered a positional area of ​​​​Ukrainian air defense systems, which covered the grouping of Ukrainian troops in the area of ​​​​the Svatovo-Kremennaya line, and, among other things, protected the Kharkiv region from attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles and cruise missiles. After the drone successfully detected the air defense deployment area (and the latter ended up in the area of ​​​​the Lesnaya Stenka settlement), it was hit, allegedly using the Iskander tactical missile system.
