The American air carrier told how it will save hundreds of thousands of liters of fuel.

As follows from the data presented by the press service of the American air carrier "United Airlines", in the near future the airline intends to save more than 643,5 tons of aviation fuel, which will reduce the operator's costs by almost $ 290 thousand. According to official information, the American airline decided to minimize the cargo transported on its aircraft, and independently decided to print the published magazine using thin paper for this. Thanks to this, the weight of the magazine was reduced by one ounce (about 28 grams - ed. Avia.pro), which ultimately, taking into account theoretical calculations, will allow the carrier to save a very decent part of its funds annually.

Of course, the theoretical calculation is far from real indicators, however, it is likely that this approach is very practical.

Earlier it was reported that the air carrier "United Airlines", stopping the duty-free trade, could save up to 2,3 million dollars, which, however, does not exclude the fact that the operator could get much more revenue from the trade in alcohol, chocolate and other goods.
