6 November 2014. China and Russia can conclude a contract in 2014 year to supply Beijing with new multifunctional Su-35 fighters. Deliveries will begin at the end of 2014 year-early 2015.

Within the framework of the concluded contract, 24 machines must be delivered. However, China's party put forward a demand: Beijing wants to purchase planes that are designed specifically for Chinese specifications, rather than ships being built for the Russian Air Force.
