10 December 2013. The Russian Air Force will receive new training ships Yak-152 as early as 2016. The previously developed design documentation for the Yak-152 aircraft will be improved according to the requirements of the Russian Air Force. To make adjustments and improvements will take 1 year.

Production of serial Yak-152 aircraft with all requirements will begin in 2016. The company where this model will be produced has not been announced. It is only known that this is not the Irkutsk aircraft plant.

The aircraft Yak-152 is intended for training pilots and for practicing maneuvers in the sky. The vessel is equipped with a double cabin and an ejection system.
