The Syrian fighter aircraft crashed in 50 kilometers from Damascus.

On the eve of the day there was information that in 50 kilometers east of the Syrian capital, members of the armed opposition were shot down by a Syrian military aircraft. According to preliminary data, the fighter was shot down from anti-aircraft guns sent to members of the opposition by the US Armed Forces.

The aircraft itself collapsed in a desert area, as a result of which it was possible to avoid any destruction on the ground, however, the pilot who was at the helm of the combat aircraft was killed - his death was officially confirmed by military specialists who arrived at the scene of the crash.

It is supposed that the opposition forces tried to disrupt the offensive operation against the militants of the terrorist group "Islamic State".
