13 November 2013. At the airport "Kherson" was the last stage of construction work, the installation of navigation system SP-80 was completed and launched in a test mode.

This system contains a complex of new equipment, which consists of a course beacon and a glide path beacon, which allow aircrafts Make a successful landing in bad weather conditions.

The final check, which will be carried out by the airplane laboratory, will take place in November 2013, after which the navigation system will operate in full-function mode.

In addition to the navigation system, the airport is being continued with the installation of equipment for the runway the airport. At this time, a project is under negotiation and establishment of requirements of aviation authorities of Ukraine.
