The filing of an application with the American court is connected, according to experts, with the intention of the Italian carrier Alitalia to protect its own operations and assets of creditors in the US, while, according to an official document, the courts issued an order to protect the airline's assets within 10 days, then Time as the first hearing on the bankruptcy case of the carrier is scheduled for 26 June (provided that the creditors will not make any claims).
