Additional helicopters of the Russian Armed Forces appeared in Belarus

On May 25, eight Mi-24 and Mi-8 helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces arrived at the Baranovichi airfield in Belarus from the Russian Seshchi. Previously, the arrival of two helicopters was reported, but updated data confirms that the number of arriving aircraft is much higher. This data is provided by the Telegram channel “Belarusian Hajun project”.

It is reported that in this way the following are located at the Baranovichi airfield:

  • 2 Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces;
  • At least 4 Su-30SM fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces;
  • 8 Mi-24 and Mi-8 helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

This event causes serious concern in Kyiv, where a new offensive from neighboring Belarus is not ruled out.
