4 January 2014. Since January 2014, for all citizens of Russia, there is a visa-free transit stay at the airports of China - Shenyang and Dalian (Liaoning Province). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation informs that the transit passengers from 45 countries will have the same opportunity. One of the basic requirements - a visa to a third country and tickets for flights to the final points.

Passengers can return to the transit country only if special permits are issued at the airport, otherwise departure from the country will be considered illegal.

Earlier, 72-hour mode without visas was introduced in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
