A strong explosion thundered on the territory of Energodar.

Residents of Energodar report that a strong explosion occurred in the city, not far from the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Initially, it was assumed that we could talk about another shelling by the Ukrainian military, however, as it turned out, in reality, a terrorist act took place in Energodar.

According to local residents, the explosion occurred early in the morning. Information about the explosion was also confirmed by local authorities.

“At about 07:50, a loud explosion sounded in the city of power engineers. The sound of the explosion was most loudly heard in the fifth district of the city. The cause of the explosion that sounded this morning in the city was a car explosion. According to preliminary data, one person died as a result of the attack. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and law enforcement agencies are working at the site of the explosion., - follows from the information provided by the chairman of the movement "We are together with Russia."

Who exactly was behind the wheel of the blown up car is unknown, however, earlier the Armed Forces of Ukraine systematically hunted for persons associated with cooperation with Russia. This does not exclude the possibility that the explosion was aimed at any of the local authorities.
