A military facility has been burning for 24 hours in the Kyiv region

A huge fire that broke out at a military-industrial enterprise in the Kyiv region after a night strike has been raging for almost a day. Employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SSES) continue to fight the fire, using 250 personnel and 111 pieces of equipment. In addition, 4 firefighting trains were involved in extinguishing the fire.

The fire reportedly started after an overnight strike that caused significant damage to the facility. The authorities have repeatedly increased the number of forces to cope with the fire and prevent further spread of the fire. The situation remains extremely tense, as the fire threatens not only the enterprise’s infrastructure, but also the surrounding areas.

Teams of firefighters and rescuers are working at the scene, making every effort to localize and extinguish the fire. Explosions and detonations on the territory of the enterprise add particular difficulty in fighting a fire, which creates additional threats for rescuers.

According to the State Emergency Service, the fire has engulfed a large area and fighting the fire may take several more hours.
