In China, announced the mass production of engines with thrust vectoring

PRC media: there is a mass production of thrust vectoring engines in the country.

From reports in the Chinese media, it follows that the country's designers have fully mastered the process of manufacturing aircraft engines with a variable thrust vector (DIVT). So, "Sina Militar" cites the statement of the Chinese expert Yang Wei. According to him, the manufacture of such engines has been mastered in China. Moreover, they are mass-produced, and this process is "in full swing."

Yang Wei assures that there is an upgraded version of such an engine. It is with such power plants that fifth generation fighters will be equipped (according to the Chinese nomenclature - the fourth). This is the J-20 aircraft. According to the expert, the use of DIVT will provide him with better maneuverability. The fighter will receive new capabilities. These include the ability to use air-to-air weapons.

The Chinese expert claims that the thrust vectoring engine can be installed on any fighter. According to him, this applies to aircraft such as J-10, J-16 and J-20.

As follows from the above, China is now included in a small group of countries capable of creating thrust vectoring engines. As Yang Wei states, the country may soon enter international markets, competing with Russia and the United States.

Earlier in China, the main problem in the aircraft industry was seen in the absence and absence of such engines, which are necessary for modern aircraft. These include the J-16, a multi-role fighter, the Chinese version of the Russian Su-35, and the J-20, a fifth-generation stealth fighter.
