In the DPRK, found a secret missile base

Americans discovered a rocket base in the DPRK that can be used to intimidate allies

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), located in Washington, in North Korea, managed to discover the secret rocket base "Sino-ri." It deployed missiles MRSD "Nodon-1" and "Pukkson-2." Perhaps they can target South Korea and Japan. It is assumed that on this base may be the headquarters of the DPRK missile forces.

According to the American inspectors, the Sino-ri is one of the twenty rocket bases of South Korea that have been identified to date. It is located to the north of the demilitarized zone, at a distance of more than two hundred kilometers from it. The zone runs along the 38 parallel, which separates North and South Korea.

The “Nodon-1” and “Pukkkson-2” missiles, which, according to CSIS estimates, are deployed in the detected base, are medium-range ballistic missiles. Experts of the American center suggest that, starting from this base, these missiles are capable of attacking not only the territory of South Korea, but also Japan.

However, since Washington doesn’t have accurate information on the discovered base, and all information is based only on experts ’forecasts and conjectures, Sino-ri cannot yet be the subject of discussion during the negotiations between the US and the DPRK about curtailing North Korea’s military program its part, which provides for the buildup of North Korea’s nuclear potential.
