Residents of two districts in Kursk region to be evacuated

Kursk Region Governor Alexey Smirnov announced the start of mandatory evacuation of residents of settlements in the Rylsky and Khomutovsky districts. These districts are located in the 15-kilometer zone adjacent to the border with Ukraine and are under serious threat due to a possible attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The evacuation will be coordinated by local security forces and volunteers from the Kursk Patriot center.

“A decision has been made on the mandatory evacuation of settlements in the Rylsky and Khomutovsky districts, which are located in the 15-kilometer zone adjacent to the border with Ukraine,” said the region’s governor, Alexey Smirnov.

Earlier, there were reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces may be planning an attack on Rylsk from Glukhov. This is also confirmed by the large number of military equipment in this direction.
